Pascal Café de la Paix + Chris Ofili

Pascal Café de la Paix at the Nobel Peace Center in downtown Oslo with its mural designed by British artist Chris Ofili, before his “controversial” days. The yellow and green mural resembles the asymmetrical shard of colored glass or colorful patterns as seen in a kaleidoscope.

Pascal Café de la Paix is no longer in this space. Alfred cafe, named after Alfred Nobel, is now in its place with Chris Ofili’s mural intact, though the new decor and style are a little misaligned with the mural.
